Responsibilities

Is responsible for the supervision, evaluation, and grading of students in the clinical environments

Serves as a consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development

Designs, implements, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies

Serves as a member of the Advisory Committee and holds an equal responsibility in the programs’ accreditation process

Required

Graduates of a program in Radiologic Technology

Associates' degree in Radiologic Technology

Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required

Licensure by the Commonwealth of Virginia Dept of Health Professionals is required

1 year of experience as an ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist is required

Preferred

Membership in the Virginia and American Societies of Radiologic Technologists is preferred
