The Investment Banking Summer Associate will support the advisory team in various transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, while gaining extensive deal execution experience and exposure to senior bankers and clients.

Responsibilities
Investment Banking Summer Associates will get a well-rounded experience by working on multiple assignments in all stages of the deal lifecycle process, from idea generation, to formal assignment pitching, to executing a deal
Summer Associates will work with a team to help create detailed financial models used for valuation and financial analysis (DCF, LBO, M&A, accretion/dilution, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis)
Prepare marketing documents, including pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, fairness opinions and board presentations
Conduct extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transaction
Support senior bankers in their relationship development responsibilities, including interaction with current and prospective clients and new idea generation
Summer Associates will participate in client meetings, due diligence visits and other client interactions during which they gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
Qualification
Required
Candidates must currently be enrolled full-time in a top MBA program with a strong emphasis on finance coursework
Strong desire to work in investment banking
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Clear communication and presentation skills
Strong command of corporate finance and accounting
Keen attention to detail
Ability to be a strategic thinker
Entrepreneurial spirit
Desire to excel
Overall excellent judgment and character
Commitment to contributing to the MTS team culture and growing our firm
Preferred
Prior healthcare industry work experience is beneficial, but not required
Benefits
$30,000* in addition to the Summer Associate salary
$45,000*, plus any full-time Associate signing bonus, as applicable
