Responsibilities
Assists with all aspects of preparing credit analyses for loan requests including financial statement analysis, collateral analysis, risk rating recommendations, trend analysis, and identifying the credit’s strengths and weaknesses
Utilizes spreading software for credit analysis and other various software programs to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports
Spreads financial statements and tax returns in accordance with policies and procedures to allow for an accurate assessment of a borrower’s financial strength
Performs analyses on cash flow, forecast and industry/economic factors affecting the request
Upon completion of research and analysis, prepares credit comments
Completes loan reviews on various credits within the loan portfolio to ensure proper documentation and accurate risk rating
Performs collateral inspections and reviews customer accounts and/or portfolios in order to identify and act on potential credit quality issues
