Responsibilities
Demonstrate ability to recognize signs and symptoms of anxiety and impending behavioral escalation as assessed by supervisor
Can verbalize developmental tasks of both adolescents and adults
Demonstrates consistant care and supervision of patients as observed by supervisor
Demonstrated proper technique for Handle with Care as observed by supervisor and/or Handle with Care Facilitator
Follows facility policy regarding patient rounds as evidenced by documentation on rounds sheets
Strategizes with patients and co-workers toplan each shift's activities effectively and therapeutically
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent REQUIRED, degree preferred
Must maintain CPR certification
Good communication skills, stable emotional make-up, ability to work under stress, professional conduct, appropriate boundaries, setting limits and maintaining confidentiality are a must
Preferred
One year of experience working with adults, children and/or adolescents in a behavioral health or inpatient setting preferred
