Responsibilities
Perform architecture gap analysis and develop the Future State Enterprise Architecture
Conduct engineering analyses to inform GEOINT Mission and IT capability investment decisions in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture baseline
Conduct baseline analysis, driving allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs and end-to-end traceability of requirements, architecture, etc
Help advance NGA’s multiple cloud acquisition, through enterprise architecture and requirements activities. Identifies and documents associated Risks, Issues, and Opportunities
Capture and translate mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions
Perform systems integration activities across organizations; participate in integrated project teams, driving the development of project plans, architecture and engineering artifacts (e.g., CONOPS), roadmaps / schedules, Risks, etc
Participate in Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments
Participate in NGA Governance, Configuration Management, and Risk Management processes
Help define modernized system integration processes, driving enhanced adoption of agile practices and digital engineering, efficiencies, and increased partnerships across a large number of organizations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Mid level experience as a Cloud Architect
Understanding and demonstrated Mid-level working experience with systems engineering processes (e.g., Architecture, Requirements, Integration, Test, and/or Transition)
Mid-level working experience in cloud-based systems architecting
Preferred
Experience / working knowledge of the GEOINT TCPED Architecture (Data Providers, Systems / Services, Interfaces, Data Flows)
Experience with agile project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence
Cloud Certification(s)
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification(s)
Familiarity with multiple cloud concepts
Experience / working knowledge of Platform-As-A-Service (PaaS)
Experience / working knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices
