Responsibilities

An Electrical Engineering co-op associate will be assigned a manager and a mentor for each rotation
The student will work at times in an office environment and other times in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
The associate will work with other Engineering employees working on projects that have a real impact to the business
Other day-to-day aspects of electrical work at our facility may include assisting with maintenance, repairs, project planning, and other tasks as assigned
The student is required to stay in good standing as a co-op student with Iowa State University in order to maintain their co-op status with Arconic

Required

Must be a student at the Iowa State University that qualifies for their co-op status
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering
Must be finished with sophomore year of schooling at the start of the first rotation
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements
