Flight Software Engineering Summer 2026 Intern
Reditus Space is a company focused on building technology for space exploration. They are seeking a Flight Software Engineering Intern to work with their engineering team on designing, developing, and testing flight software for the ENOS vehicle, providing hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Develop and test embedded flight software for satellite systems
Implement telemetry and command handling protocols
Debug and troubleshoot flight software issues
Collaborate with engineers to define and implement flight software interfaces
Maintain clear software documentation and utilize version control processes
Support system-level testing and validation of flight software components
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (senior undergraduate or graduate level)
Strong programming skills in C/C++
Understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
Knowledge of spacecraft systems and operations
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Experience with flight software frameworks (e.g., NASA cFS, F Prime)
