Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate engineering activities across all project phases from early development through construction and commissioning
Review and approve design documentation at key stages (concept, design progression, issue for construction)
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
Perform detailed assessments of engineering deliverables, studies, and technical reports
Provide insights to project management, procurement, and field teams to ensure technical alignment and timely execution
Support evaluation of EPC and subcontractor proposals, identifying technical risks and recommending solutions
Assist with RFIs, NCRs, and resolution of design conflicts during project delivery
Collaborate with internal and external teams including contractors, consultants, and suppliers to address issues and maintain quality standards
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process or design efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's degree is advantageous
Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV and/or battery energy storage project engineering
Direct involvement in technical oversight of several large-scale renewable projects
Strong knowledge of design, permitting, and construction practices for utility or commercial-scale renewable systems
Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office applications
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
