Sentinel (GBSD) - Principal Electromechanical Engineer - R10202176

They are seeking a Principal Electromechanical Engineer to support the Sentinel program, responsible for reviewing and integrating electrical and mechanical components, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring adherence to design and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities
Reviewing MMV systems that integrate electrical and mechanical components
Coordinating with suppliers
Reviewing designs
Integrating with other NG integrated product teams to ensure adherence to, and implementation of requirements
Actively participate in design reviews
Review/approve subcontract deliverables
Gauge supplier readiness to enter contractual milestones
Transition to test and verification oversight to assist suppliers through a successful qualification event
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Electromechanical Engineering with a minimum 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master's; or 1 years with a PhD
Must have U.S. Citizenship with a current or active Secret level clearance and have the ability to obtain, and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) as a condition of continued employment
Experience with Support Equipment hardware development for aircraft/aerospace programs; including requirements generation, conceptual/detail design, design reviews, and/or testing
Experience with Support Equipment requirements analysis, trade studies, SERD generation, design solutions, acquisition, test, and validation
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%
Must be an expert with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Preferred
Master's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or related field with 5-9 years of relatable work experience
Experience with Teamcenter
Hands on experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, power, hand and measuring tools
Aerospace / ICBM maintenance experience
Knowledge in design of mechanical and electrical ICBM subsystems
Knowledge in the development of SE design solutions
