Responsibilities
Discover how to understand domestic and international freight contracts and terms, and how to effectively compare them with invoicing details
Examine customs statements and learn how to navigate HTS lists, as well as search the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and related resources
Assist in coordinating shipments and managing transportation documentation
Track shipments and maintain accurate records in our management system
Support customs compliance and international trade documentation processes
Help analyze shipping routes and carriers to optimize delivery times and costs
Collaborate with local delivery partners, freight forwarders, brokers, and customs brokers
Support the team with import/export documentation and compliance checks
Coordinate with carriers and manage delivery schedules
Help troubleshoot shipment delays and help coordinate solutions
Qualification
Required
Incoming college senior pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong work ethic with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
