Coordinate the interdisciplinary services and organizational systems necessary for optimal care of the injured patient
Oversee the educational, clinical, research, administrative, financial, performance improvement, and outreach activities of a trauma program
Prepare and maintain the hospital for ACS verification and State designation as a level II trauma center
Qualification
Required
Registered nurse with knowledge and clinical experience in the care of injured patients
Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary services and organizational systems for optimal care of the injured patient
Knowledge and skill in professional nursing theory and practice
Knowledge and skill in trauma care and trauma systems
Understanding of principles of teaching and learning
Knowledge in quality management
Ability to prepare and maintain the hospital for ACS verification and State designation as a level II trauma center
