Responsibilities

Helping U.S. Federal Civilian Government organizations implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems
Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap
Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges
Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc
Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures

Required

3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

Preferred

Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of the AWS services
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes environments at scale
Proven experience architecting containerized applications and microservices architectures
Strong background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation using Kubernetes
Experience managing multiple Kubernetes clusters
Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes security, networking, and storage concepts
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm) for Kubernetes deployments
Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems and container-based applications
Experience within the Federal Government
Understanding of infrastructure and security requirements, such as FedRAMP Moderate/High, HIPAA, DoD SRG, CJIS, etc
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
