Educational Interpreter for the Deaf
Placer County Office of Education is an educational leader committed to providing exemplary services to local school districts and the community. They are seeking a part-time Educational Interpreter for the Deaf to support students in their educational journey, requiring certifications and training in interpreting.
Education Management
Qualification
Required
Proof of CPR Certification or have the ability to obtain one within 30 days
Must posses a valid California Drivers License
Certification (Completion of an accredited college-level interpreter training program is required.)
Letter of Introduction
Other (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA), or equivalent assessment certification with a score of 4.0 or higher.)
Resume
Test Results/Materials (Educational Interpreter Written Assessment or equivalent assessment certification with a pass/fail score of 75% or higher)
Preferred
Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification is preferred
