Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC) is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to work closely with the Supply Chain team. This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment, supporting projects that ensure supply continuity and supply chain optimization.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Support actions to ensure material availability aligned with the manufacturing schedule

Assist with coordination and planning of manufacturing cells

Support the management of purchase orders and manufacturing work orders

Assist procurement activities by tracking and managing RFQs

Review, organize, and improve vendor documentation and data management practices

Participate in Kaizen events to drive supply chain and process improvements

Analyze inventory data and help develop action plans to improve inventory turns

Manage existing datasets and build new data models to track spend categories and supplier performance metrics

Learn and apply Lean manufacturing tools to support continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders through written and verbal channels

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field

Strong analytical skills with an interest in manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain optimization

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
