The intern will assist the Legislative Affairs team by managing legislative inquiries, preparing documents, tracking legislation, and attending committee meetings.

Helping manage the legislative inquiry system
Preparing briefings and internal documents
Tracking legislation
Attending House and Senate committee meetings
Conducting various research projects
Attending House and Senate Floor Sessions and committee hearings
Tracking legislation as it passes through both chambers
Qualification
Required
Enrolled as a full or part-time student in a college or university
2.0 overall GPA or better
Current academic transcript
Meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States; 18 years of age
Meet any additional requirements of the attending school's Internship program
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
A general knowledge of Georgia's legislative process
Preferred
Majors: Political science, public policy, communications, and international affairs
