The role involves ensuring the quality of software products through rigorous testing and analysis, collaborating closely with developers and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications including mobile and web platforms
Perform manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit
Conduct root cause analysis to identify defects in software applications
Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that software meets business requirements
Utilize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline testing processes
Analyze data from tests to provide insights into performance and usability
Maintain documentation of test results and defects using tools such as Jira or HP ALM
Engage in load testing and performance testing using LoadRunner or similar tools
Support the development of automated tests for RESTful APIs and mobile applications
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, or Cucumber
Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle
Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab
Understanding of web services (SOAP/REST) and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data analysis and debugging
Experience with Agile methodologies as well as Waterfall project management approaches
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure
