Holland & Knight LLP is seeking a Midlevel Financial Services Associate to join its Financial Services group in the Century City office. The role requires representing financial institutions in various financing transactions, with a focus on securities-based financings and private equity fund finance transactions.

Responsibilities

Candidates should have 3 to 6 years of experience representing financial institutions or other lenders in a variety of financing transactions

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in securities-based financings, private equity fund finance transactions, sponsor-backed acquisition financings, asset-based and cash flow lending and other related financings

Clients will include some of the world’s leading financial institutions and debt funds

The candidate must be a self-starter with strong drafting skills as well as the ability and desire to interface directly with clients and opposing counsel, and the tenacity to drive transactions to closing

Required

JD from an ABA Accredited Law School

Admission to the California Bar required

Experience in sponsor-backed acquisition financings

Experience in asset-based and cash flow lending

Strong academic background

Meaningful big-law experience in sophisticated transactions

Strong drafting skills

Ability and desire to interface directly with clients and opposing counsel

Tenacity to drive transactions to closing
