Medical Director, Pediatric Outpatient Service- Full-time (W2)

Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to a team of pediatric psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other mental health professionals
Provide clinical oversight and support for team members, ensuring they have the resources and training they need to deliver high-quality psychiatric care
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate accurate diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each developmental stage
Utilize proven therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, ensuring safe and appropriate interventions
Foster a collaborative treatment environment, educating families on mental health issues, involving them in care planning, and providing guidance on supportive measures at home
Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions with members and families, ensuring a high-quality and supportive experience, and leverage technology to maintain regular communication
Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to collaborative care planning, and provide consultative support to other team members for comprehensive member care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes. Use data analytics to assess outcomes and continuously improve care quality
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, engage in ongoing professional development, and commit to ethical, patient-centered care practices
Qualification
Required
Board-certified or Board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state
Demonstrated Family Engagement skills and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults
Commitment to JCAHO Standards: Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance
Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Candidates must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to employment for this role
Full-time resident of the United States
Preferred
Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment (video and teletherapy)
Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
