The Software Engineer in Perception will design and build the sensor data pipeline, ensuring accurate and reliable information from various sensors for advanced perception models.

Responsibilities
Work on algorithms, tools, and models that extract critical information from multi-modal sensors in real time
Develop and validate systems that ensure sensor data is accurate, synchronized, and reliable, including calibration, error detection, and health monitoring
Integrate sensor data into the perception stack and build efficient data flows that power real-time algorithms
Preprocess multi-sensor inputs to improve perception performance, such as time synchronization and ground detection
Contribute to the overall perception pipeline, from raw sensor integration to AI-ready features
Qualification
Required
Experience in developing algorithms for multi-modal sensor data processing
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or similar
Familiarity with sensor technologies including cameras, lidars, radars, and IMUs
Experience with real-time systems and data processing
Knowledge of calibration techniques and error detection methods
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in robotics or autonomous vehicle systems
Familiarity with machine learning and AI models
Experience with software development tools and methodologies
Knowledge of data synchronization techniques
Experience with health monitoring systems for sensor data
