Responsibilities
Lead development and execution of significant transit-rail projects including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high-speed rail, bus rapid transit, aerial or underground project pursuits, and delivery
Establish relationships with LA Metro, and other local agencies in the City of LA
Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally
Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transit-rail project teams
Proven track record with large client account management, mega-project pursuits, and engineering/planning staff development
A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM’s other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients
Qualification
Required
BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transit-rail project teams
Proven track record with large client account management, mega-project pursuits, and engineering/planning staff development
A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM's other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients
Preferred
BS Civil Engineering
15+ years of experience leading engineering projects with mega-project management
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Civil Engineer with PE license in California
Ability to scope/estimate complex projects
Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience
Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction
Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role
Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management
5+ years of demonstrated leadership and managing large alternative delivery projects
