Start in 2026 SummerGlobalFoundries is a leading full-service semiconductor foundry providing design, development, and fabrication services to technology companies. They are seeking a 2nd Year summer law intern to support their Commercial Agreements team by assisting attorneys in closing sales deals and analyzing contract drafts. The role offers the opportunity to work on special projects related to commercial agreements and may lead to future employment after law school.

Responsibilities
Assist attorneys and paralegals in all aspects of closing GF sales deals and nondisclosure agreements
Assist attorneys in analyzing contract drafts, drafting agreements, and obtaining needed information to complete contract drafts
Perform work on special projects related to GF’s commercial agreement functions
Perform other work as assigned
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Qualification
Required
Completion of Second Year of Law School at the start of internship
Excellent academic credentials
Excellent legal writing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of U.S. contracts law
Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools
Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
Physical Capacity Demands – office work
Preferred
Business, science, or technology background helpful, but not required
Finance skills helpful, but not required
Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German a plus
