Restaurant Operations Intern
Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar offers a Hospitality Internship Program for culinary and hospitality students to gain hands-on experience in restaurant operations. Interns will engage in various roles, participate in leadership development, and work across three distinct restaurant brands while undertaking significant projects and networking opportunities.

Participate in various roles within the restaurant, including kitchen operations, front-of-house service, and guest relations
Gain practical experience in food preparation, menu planning, and presentation
Collaborate with chefs, servers, and managers to understand the intricacies of daily restaurant activities
Engage in leadership workshops and training sessions
Shadow and interact with the restaurant's leadership team to learn about decision-making processes and team management
Contribute to meaningful projects that impact restaurant operations
Work across all three restaurant brands within the group, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of different cuisines and service styles
Undertake a significant project related to restaurant operations and present the findings and recommendations to the leadership team
Enhance public speaking and presentation skills through regular interactions with colleagues and management
Attend networking events and engage in mentorship opportunities with experienced professionals
Receive guidance and support from mentors within the organization
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Current enrollment in an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Full-Service Restaurant Experience
Experience in creating, preparing, and presenting to a leadership team
Proficiency in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Unrestricted work authorization in the US
