Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is a leading international supplier of plumbing and water delivery solutions. The Engineering Internship offers hands-on learning opportunities where interns will assist the Engineering Team in product development and certification for plumbing products, while gaining technical, business, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Perform basic product design modifications

Perform AutoCAD & Inventor Drafting tasks on drawing revisions and creation

Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment

Perform engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products

Communicate with team members to gather information about project requirements or to report progress on a project

Conducting technical research to identify issues and propose solutions

Create rapid prototypes through 3D printing

Test plumbing products to performance standards and report results for existing products, new prototypes and product returns

Required

Currently attending school for a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Plastics Engineering Technology, or similar

Must have completed course work relating to design

Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer

Efficient and detail-oriented

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
