Responsibilities
Serve as the systems integrator for portable gas detection products, defining system-level architecture and coordinating responsibilities across mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware teams
Lead end-to-end systems engineering activities from concept through validation and deployment, ensuring alignment with project milestones and technical requirements
Define and manage system-level requirements, interfaces, and architecture in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams
Conduct preliminary and critical design reviews, providing technical oversight and ensuring design integrity across disciplines
Coordinate technical efforts with internal engineering teams, business/commercial teams, and potentially external customers to align technical execution with business objectives
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, interface control documents, and requirement specifications
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S
Experience in systems-level design and integration of portable gas detectors or similar products
Ability to lead end-to-end systems engineering activities from concept through validation and deployment
Experience in defining and managing system-level requirements, interfaces, and architecture
Experience conducting preliminary and critical design reviews
Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation
Experience coordinating technical efforts with internal engineering teams and external customers
