Responsibilities
Working at the direction of a Professional Engineer, prepare construction drawings, layouts, and exhibits in accordance with GDOT Plan Presentation Guide & Electronic Data Guidelines, and/or SCDOT plan preparation guide
Make geometric calculations and estimate construction quantities using CADD tools
Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in the field Transportation/Roadway Design
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation V8, and Inroads or Geopak software applications
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
The ability to work a regular schedule of 730AM - 530PM Mon-Thurs and 730AM - 1130AM Fri including occasional evenings and weekends
Proven ability to multi task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks
Highly client service oriented, self-starter, and team player
Ability to solve problems
Excellent time management skills
Preferred
EIT Certification
Previous experience with Microstation
