The intern will learn about various functions of an insurance carrier and assist in prospecting, new business, and retention processes while communicating with underwriters, brokers, and insureds.

Assist in the prospecting, new business, and retention processes through real-time scenarios
Communicate regularly with underwriters, brokers, and insureds
Spend time on the road with local Business Development and Loss Control Representatives to practice learned technical and soft skills while meeting with customers and prospective customers
Qualification
Required
Must be a student in a four-year college or university
Must be able to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks
Must be able to work in our center city Philadelphia office
Preferred
Risk Management/Insurance major preferred
