They are seeking a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for collecting, reconciling, and summarizing accounting information, managing vendor relationships, and generating financial reports.

Responsibilities

Month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries

Annual budgets and ad hoc reports

Reviewing, approving, and monitoring accounts payable and receivables

Vendor management, including due diligence and contracting

Tracking restricted funder grants including monthly BvA reports

Serving as a main point of contact for client financial needs, including project management support, vendor and sub-grantee contracts, reporting, auditing, and preparing 990 and related tax forms

Operational needs, including liaising with internal departments such as IT and HR/payroll
