Responsibilities

Support the development of a VoiceAI system that can interact with dental insurance carriers for tasks like insurance verification and claims management
Design, refine, and test prompts and workflows to ensure reliable and accurate responses from the AI agent
Build test harnesses and evaluation frameworks to validate system performance in real-world scenarios
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate the VoiceAI agent into production systems
Document workflows, testing results, and iteration learnings for team-wide knowledge sharing
Contribute to improving system reliability, edge-case handling, and workflow coverage

Required

Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with ML/AI concepts
Experience with prompt engineering, conversational AI, or building prototypes using LLMs (class projects or personal projects welcome)
Interest in speech-to-text, text-to-speech, or voice-based AI systems
Comfortable with experimentation, iteration, and debugging complex workflows
Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred

Familiarity with voice AI stacks (e.g., VAPI, ElevenLabs, FixieAI, etc.)
Experience with backend systems or API integration
