FSQA Supervisor 2nd Shift

As an FSQA Supervisor, you will lead a QA team to ensure compliance with USDA regulations, manage food safety issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to mentor team members and collaborate across departments to enhance food safety and quality processes.

Responsibilities

Coach and train QA staff and oversee new hire onboarding

Conduct performance reviews (IPP), manage staffing and scheduling, and enforce accountability

Evaluate team performance aligned with departmental KPIs and make impactful changes

Lead resolution of food safety issues, NRs, USDA concerns, and micro deficiencies

Act as USDA liaison and partner closely with QA leadership for issue management

Identify and address systemic gaps in food safety and quality processes

Reinforce company programs and initiatives within the QA team

Provide training for production team members handling FSQA tasks

Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, and support/sales teams

Validate CCPs and lead evaluations of pre-op programs and sanitation trends

Partner with the Lab to ensure sampling program effectiveness

Lead data-driven process enhancements in line with industry best practices

Required

Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related technical/production role

Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and accountability

Analytical thinker who turns data into decisions
