New Grad, Entry LevelSherman Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Scrub Tech who will assist in the nursing care and preparation of Cardiac Cath lab patients. The role involves maintaining a sterile field, preparing sterile trays, and collaborating with Rad Tech and RN's to ensure quality performance.

Responsibilities
Prepare sterile trays, fields and work area of the patient
Responsible for Scrub Assistant function of Cath Lab
Interact with Rad Tech and RN's to assure quality performance
Assist with QU, radiation safety functions and documentation
Assist with orientation and training of new personnel
Assist with inventory and ordering of all diagnostic supplies
Performs housekeeping and patient transport duties as needed
Maintain and test all equipment as needed
Works with other staff to assure procedures are complete
Continues self-education and required competencies as needed
Participates in on-call rotation as required
Maintains regular attendance
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or GED is required
Must be certified radiology technician, an RCIS, or a certified scrub technologist
