As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help establish practices that enable rapid and reliable value delivery, maintaining cloud and CI infrastructure for multiple SaaS products while guiding technical decisions and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

Support product development teams to optimize application architecture for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency

Implementation of our cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, primarily with Terraform

Lead best practices for our infrastructure resources across multiple cloud providers (GCP, Azure)

Implement and improve system observability, including logging, monitoring, and alerting, to ensure system health and enable rapid debugging

Lead debugging and problem-solving that help the whole team become more effective

Enforce best practices for security, reliability, and performance within our infrastructure

Be on-call for our infrastructure during incident response

Responsible for servicing our product engineering team requests for support via our triaging guidance

Leverage and evangelize LLM usage in our team, dev tools, & dev workflows

Drive improvements in development flow through:

Optimizing deployment processes

Establish our development feedback loops

Improving system observability

Guide technical decision-making by:

Breaking down complex problems

Facilitating tradeoff discussions

Helping teams understand cost of delay

Ensuring decisions enable rapid iteration

Other duties as assigned/necessary
