Required

Typically around 5+ years of software engineering experience

Experience with building web apps having designed and implemented features from start to finish (full-stack, using Typescript and ideally AWS)

Focus on having a high impact, having spearheaded the engineering of critical systems before, working with best-in-class tooling in AWS, IaaC, observability and quality assessments

Understanding of what it takes to build highly reliable & well architected products, building with quality, observability & redundancy at the forefront

Enjoyment of all aspects of building a product and comfort moving across the stack when necessary

Craving ownership and gravitating towards the meatier engineering projects or wanting to level up DevOPS or SRE game

Being a team player and excited by helping maximise team performance

Comfort when faced with ambiguity and excitement to tackle problems without a predefined clear definition or obvious solution

Preferred

You've performed exceptionally at something else in the past, be it academics, sport, work etc. You've gone above and beyond the norm

You love engineering, it's more than a job for you. You've contributed to open-source projects or worked on side-projects in your spare time just because you enjoy it
