Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of electronics technicians, ensuring smooth and efficient technical operations
Oversee electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring top-quality standards
Conduct and manage risk assessments, including PUWER and COSHH, in alignment with health and safety requirements
Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety standards, creating a safe working environment for all team members
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and quality
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all technical activities, aligning with company protocols
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, providing coaching and development support to technical apprentices
Qualification
Required
HND in an Electronics discipline
Minimum of 5 years' experience in electronics, with a strong background in electronics diagnostics
3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in a technical setting
Proficiency with PC literacy and technical software
Understanding of COSHH regulations
Familiarity with Health and Safety protocols in an electronics or technical environment
Experience conducting Risk Assessments and PUWER Assessments
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues and customers professionally
Ability to handle unexpected situations and solve problems quickly and effectively
Commitment to confidentiality and data protection
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
Preferred
BEng in Electronics or related field
