Responsibilities
Preparing legal documents and handling the financial and tax aspects of estates and trusts
Preparing and filing state and federal fiduciary income tax returns and death tax returns, ensuring compliance with filing requirements
Serving as a liaison between attorneys, clients, financial advisors, and beneficiaries, ensuring seamless communication and efficient and accurate case management
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of experience in fiduciary tax management and trusts and estates law
Proficiency in preparing fiduciary income tax and estate tax returns
Strong knowledge and experience with GOSystems tax software, required
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with document management systems, preferably iManage
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
ABA-approved paralegal certification, preferred
