Responsibilities
Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
Design and implement service-oriented architectures to enhance system functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
Integrate Salesforce with other systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and ETL processes
Ensure data integrity and security through effective database management using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Conduct system testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools like Jenkins or Git
Maintain documentation for system architecture, design specifications, and user guides
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem
Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts including cloud security, computer networking, and system administration
Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails, or similar
Experience with database technologies including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Strong understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and APIs for system integration
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on system hardening and vulnerability management
Preferred
Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Azure is a plus
Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Docker or Kubernetes for container orchestration
