Responsibilities
Build and maintain the infrastructure underlying trading operations
Develop robust high performance event-driven systems and APIs
Write concurrent code and work with relational databases (e.g. Postgres)
Familiarity with the AWS stack (especially RDS and ECS)
Work with stream processing (Kafka)
Potentially build trading systems including order management
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of professional experience as a backend engineer
Experience building robust high performance event-driven systems and APIs
Very comfortable with relational databases (e.g. Postgres)
Experience writing concurrent code
Familiarity with the AWS stack (especially RDS and ECS)
Familiarity with stream processing (Kafka)
Preferred
Experience directly building trading systems including order management
Proficiency in Golang
Familiarity with frontend development
Familiarity with machine learning, neural networks, or generative AI including LLMs
Experience trading on Kalshi or other prediction markets
