Community Schools Advisory Committee

The DC Mayor's Office of Talent and Appointments is seeking members for the Community Schools Advisory Committee to provide intellectual guidance on research projects related to education. The committee will help formulate Partnership policy and requires members to have expertise in student learning, school improvement, and urban education policy.

Total public members: 8
Method of Appointment: Appointed by the Mayor
Length of Appointment: 3 years
Residency: Community members must be DC Residents
Members of the Advisory Committee shall have the ability to contribute substantive expertise to the research process related to student learning, school improvement, and urban education policy
Members shall be actively involved in practice, policy, or research on school improvement
A person who works for the Partnership or is a direct employee of a non-government organization that provides funding to the Partnership shall not be eligible for membership on the Advisory Committee
