Responsibilities

Architect ML solutions processing 1TB+ datasets, integrated with enterprise Data Lakes

Mentor a team of 5-7 engineers, improving model accuracy by through best practices

Ensure MLOps pipelines achieve 99.9% uptime and comply with federal standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF)

Implement AI ethics protocols, mitigating bias in 100% of deployed models

Collaborate on data privacy and security for sensitive bioscience datasets

Qualification

Required

U.S. Citizen with active DoD, IC, or DHS clearance, or eligibility to obtain/maintain one

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field, or 8+ years of equivalent experience

5+ years of ML engineering with production deployments (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)

Advanced Python proficiency and experience with ML frameworks

Expertise in Data Lake/Warehouse architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)

Strong ETL and data modeling skills for large-scale datasets

Preferred

Experience deploying ML models in federal environments (e.g., DoD, DHS)

Proven leadership of cross-functional AI teams (5+ members)

Knowledge of AI ethics frameworks (e.g., NIST AI Risk Management Framework)

AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty or TensorFlow Developer Certificate
