Responsibilities
Conceptualize, design, and detail mechanical systems and products
Use CAD software to create detailed 2D or 3D design
Specify materials, production methods, and other requirements for designs
Collaborate with engineers and other team members
Conduct and document design calculations
Ensure designs adhere to company procedures, relevant regulations, and client-specific requirements
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SOLIDWORKS and other pertinent mechanical engineering design software
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to produce basic technical reports utilizing Microsoft Office tools
Strong mathematical and computer skills
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
