Tatum by Randstad is working with a client in the manufacturing industry seeking a consultant for a 4-6+ month project. The consultant will be responsible for complex reconciliations, financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and assisting with year-end close and audits.

Responsibilities

The accounting consultant would be responsible for being hands on with complex reconciliations and prepares monthly journal entries

Responsible for monthly/quarterly financial statement preparation

The consultant would also be responsible for variance analysis of labor, materials, and other overhead expenses

Assist with the year end close and the annual audit

Present monthly/quarterly financials to leadership

Required

Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required

5+ years of month end close experience in the manufacturing industry

4+ years of supervisory experience

Intermediate excel skills are a must

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must

Preferred

CPA or MBA is desired

Prior experience with cost accounting is desired
