Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in financial economics, financial and macroeconomic crises, financial econometrics, and behavioral finance
Contribute to teaching economics and finance core courses such as Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Introduction to Economics, Introduction to Econometrics, Intermediate Microeconomic Theory, Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory, and Senior Seminar
Engage in professional development and research with undergraduate students

Qualification

Required

Ph.D. (completed by August 2026) in economics, finance, or a related field is preferred; ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor
A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential
Candidates must be able to contribute to teaching economics and finance core courses (i.e., Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Introduction to Economics, Introduction to Econometrics, Intermediate Microeconomic Theory, Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory, and Senior Seminar) in addition to courses in the candidate's area of specialization

Preferred

Candidates who can teach courses in one or more of the following areas (financial economics, financial and macroeconomic crises, financial econometrics, and behavioral finance)
Candidates with additional teaching interests in the following areas (corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, valuation, portfolio management, fintech, venture capital and entrepreneurial finance)
