Responsibilities

Build IT Systems using databases, caching, frontend and backend technologies

Assist in building and testing financial models for portfolio analytics, trading, and risk management

Perform quantitative research using large financial datasets to extract insights and improve investment strategies

Contribute to the design and development of dashboards, reports, and tools used by portfolio managers and analysts

Support ongoing projects involving portfolio optimization, performance attribution, and factor analysis

Collaborate with senior quantitative analysts and technologists to document methodologies and present findings

Participate in cross-functional projects with exposure to investment teams, operations, and technology

Required

Interested in quant development, performing research activities and systematic trading strategies for multiple asset classes

Good programming skills (React, Python, R, Big Data, SQL) preferred

Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

A working knowledge of Internet, MS Word and Excel

Roll up your sleeve work ethic and Professional demeanor

A working knowledge of Excel; exposure to financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv) is a plus

Currently entering junior level (3rd year) or beyond within a 4-year college program, ideally pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics Computer Science or a related field

Preferred

Machine learning algorithms and trading strategies with robust back testing experience is a plus

Some experience within a corporate environment is helpful but not required
