Responsibilities

Management of the entire sales process, with a strategic focus on the US Energy / Utilities market segment
Presentation and advocation of our cutting-edge weather solutions, advising clients and prospective clients on technical and meteorological applications to meet the specific needs that you have identified
Continue to accelerate our rapidly growing brand awareness by representing Meteomatics at conferences and trade fairs in the US (and further afield)
Consistently looking to build and develop pipeline enabling you to achieve set target on a quarterly and yearly basis
Build trusting relationships and present value-based solutions to potential customers within the Energy sector
Partner closely with internal teams (Meteodrone development, software, meteorology, and marketing) to shape our offerings and strategy, ensuring a strong market fit and scalable growth
Bring energy and innovation, adding to the culture of our growing global sales team
Continuously develop your knowledge and competencies
Keeping our sales systems such as Hubspot & Gong updated with the latest activities and next steps. Whilst providing accurate business forecast on a regular basis

Qualification

Required

Strong network in the Energy sector and sales experience is mandatory; weather product knowledge is a plus
Demonstrable experience of selling enterprise software (preferably SaaS) solutions into the Energy / Utilities market, preferably with 5+ years in a commercial or customer-facing role
Previous experience in a New Business Sales / Account Management role (or similar), with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
Confidence to engage with senior stakeholders, strong negotiation skills and enthusiasm for leveraging weather information to solve business challenges
Data driven, commercially minded
Excellent communication skills in English
A proven team player, with the ability to work unsupervised, as part of a close team, focused on the Energy & Utilities segment
US working permit essential

Preferred

Some previous knowledge of meteorological applications is desirable, but not necessary
