Supervise shipping department staff, ensuring proper training, performance, and compliance with SOPs and pharmacy regulations

Coordinate and monitor daily shipping schedules for timely delivery of prescription and compounded medications

Oversee packaging processes to ensure product integrity, temperature control (if applicable), and patient safety

Work closely with pharmacy, fulfillment, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order flow and resolution of shipping issues

Maintain shipping logs, tracking reports, and regulatory documentation (e.g., chain of custody, temperature logs, manifests)

Manage relationships with shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS) and negotiate service terms when necessary

Troubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies, delays, or damages

Conduct regular audits to ensure packaging materials, labels, and documentation meet quality standards

Monitor shipping inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed

Implement continuous improvement practices to streamline processes and reduce shipping errors
