Qualification

Required

Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida OR a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Traffic/Transportation Engineering, or closely related field
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in professional traffic engineering
Licensed as a P.E. in the State of FL OR ability to obtain State of FL P.E. licensure within 11 months of hire

Preferred

Experience with traffic signal timing development and implementation
Experience with traffic signal analysis packages (e.g., Synchro)
Experience with traffic signal systems
Experience with NEMA traffic signal controllers
Experience with Signal Priority or Adaptive Traffic Control Systems
Experience with ITS control center operations
