Senior Consultant – Financial Transactions & Accounting
Actualize Consulting is a niche firm specializing in Capital Markets, Mortgage and Fixed Income, and Treasury Operations. They are seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in financial transactions and treasury management to optimize clients' treasury operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The role involves leading client engagements, advising on accounting treatments, and collaborating with finance teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead client engagements focused on treasury management systems (TMS) implementation, configuration, and optimization
Advise on accounting treatment for cash, liquidity, hedging, financial instruments, and intercompany transactions
Support clients with treasury transformation projects, including process automation and system enhancements
Provide technical expertise on treasury-related accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated consulting solutions
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development
Qualification
Required
Lead client engagements focused on treasury management systems (TMS) implementation, configuration, and optimization
Advise on accounting treatment for cash, liquidity, hedging, financial instruments, and intercompany transactions
Support clients with treasury transformation projects, including process automation and system enhancements
Provide technical expertise on treasury-related accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated consulting solutions
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Preferred
Experience in financial services or corporate treasury environment
Solid analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus
System/software implementation experience
Exposure to financial instruments including derivatives, funding, and investments
CFA, CPA, or CTP certification is preferred
