Responsibilities

Conduct frequent patrols of the facilities and complete safety and security checks

Conduct foot patrols of the facilities where access is provided to identify safety and security concerns

Makes periodic tours about buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates to ensure that they are properly secured

Provide feedback to supervisor of any exceptions, incidents or pertinent information

Ensure that all Company security standards, policies and procedures are maintained. Report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities

Ensure security of doors, windows and gates

Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas

Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances

Complete a Shift Report per the Shift Report Writing Guidelines

Attend staff meetings/trainings as required

May serve as liaison with police on mutual problems
