New Grad, Entry LevelMDS Communications Corporation is seeking a Data Processing Assistant who will be responsible for importing, extracting, transforming, and loading data into a production database. The role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills, as the DPA will collaborate with team members and clients to ensure proper data processing and reporting.

Responsibilities
Importing/extracting data from various external sources
Transforming data for storing in a proper, consistent format
Loading data to a production database for end users to interact with and report on
Working closely with the Data Processing Team, Account Managers, and internal and external clients
Ensuring the proper processing of incoming data
Selecting/updating data based on segmentation performance analysis
Returning data to internal and external customers
Working with applications to display data to end users in a web browser
Qualification
Required
Aptitude for learning new computer skills (We will provide training on SQL and application development software as it pertains to DPA job functions.)
Attention to detail and concern for impact is essential
Ability to recognize deviations from expected observations
Calls attention to results that require attention
Completes work in a timely fashion
Ability to collaborate with a team
Effectively communicates with others by giving and receiving feedback
Communicates ideas and information clearly
Must maintain a professional demeanor in sensitive situations
M-F availability during regular business hours
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
Assist other departments as necessary
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be proactive to ensure proper follow up and completion of projects
Preferred
Familiarity with MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-SQL Server Management Studio, or other data manipulation software
Experience with Relational Database Management Systems
BS in Computer Science related field or commensurate work experience
