Creative Entrepreneurship Curricular Ambassador / Communication Team
Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is seeking candidates for the position of Creative Entrepreneurship Curricular Ambassador and Communications Team member for the Fall 2025 Semester. This role involves developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies related to the Creative Entrepreneurship curricular area, engaging students and faculty, and managing social media platforms.

Responsibilities
60% Design and produce written and visual elements, still photography, and video each week of a variety of department activities, including but not limited to: Social Media platforms, Blog posts, Town Hall meetings, C/ENTR Area promotion, and more
25% Marketing and outreach activities to raise awareness of the C/ENTR Area with current and prospective students, faculty, as well as AE alumni, clients, Visiting Artists, guest presenters, et al
15% Other duties as assigned

Required

Self-directed and detail oriented
Strong time management skills
Some experience in design
Comfortable working with the Adobe suite
Comfortable working with Google Drive (Docs, Slides, and Sheets)
Positive attitude
Great sense of humor
Preferred
Knowledge in or curiosity about the topics of creative entrepreneurship
Knowledge in or curiosity about systems thinking
Knowledge in or curiosity about social entrepreneurship
Knowledge in or curiosity about business as practiced by professional artists and designers
