Responsibilities

Leading strategic discussions, aligning your team to ensure quality and deadlines are met, while keeping clients informed and engaged
Diving into problem-solving, managing budgets, refining proposals, and identifying new opportunities – all while motivating your team to turn every challenge into a win
Providing interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serving as a technical leader to ensure the project solution and quality goals are met
Managing client interactions and negotiating/control project scope to client and company's satisfaction
Fostering and maintaining working relations with assigned clients and acting as a single point of contact for assigned projects
Planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to established schedule and within budget
Understanding project schedules, project management plans, and managing project staff to ensure project requirements are met
Formulating/developing detailed project reports
Understanding project financials and being able to report regularly to management on financial status and overall project performance
Working with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals
Aggressively supporting marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up

Required

Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities
Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience
Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks

PE license strongly preferred
